There are some magical and enchanted places, oasis of peace and tranquility where you can get away from the madding crowd and take refuge in your own thoughts. It may seem difficult in such a busy city like Manhattan, but in this last post from my Fashion Week I really wanted to show you the most intimate part of New York, bringing you with me into the wonderful Brooklyn Botanic Garden.
The park – which covers 24 acres of land – is characterized by a series of “gardens in the Garden”, like the Children Garden, the Native American one and the Shakespeare Garden -?where you can see all varieties of flowers and plants mentioned in the works of the Bard; the one that mostly catched my eye, though, was the beautiful Japanese garden built in 1914 – the first in America. Evrything in this area of the park is created with such a dedication and love for the details, from the stone lamps to the classic torii bridge, with exquisite touches such as the small waterfall and the Shinto temple. It is a surreal place pervaded by an atmosphere of calm and serenity, and one of the most beautiful I have seen in New York.?This scenario it seemed the perfect backdrop to show you my last look at New York Fashion Week, designed by the brilliant Japanese designer Yojiro Kake:?it is such a surreal place pervaded by an atmosphere of calm and serenity like no other, and one of the most beautiful I have seen in New York.
For this outfit, I’ve chosen a long peacocky coat – whimsical and theatrical – which falls fluid in a cascade of turquoise, combined with an origami?minidress with graphic print of stripes and digital flowers, huge rope earrings and a pair of shoes in contrasting magenta. I wanted to pay tribute with this photostory to a culture that has always fascinated and inspired me, its elegance and harmony, its noise, its colors, its flowers, and the contradictions of a country always in between History and modernity.

Esistono luoghi magici ed incantati, oasi di pace e tranquillit? in cui ? possibile scappare dalla pazza folla e rifugiarsi nei propri pensieri. Pu? sembrare difficile in una citt? frenetica come Manhattan, ma in questo ultimo post sulla mia Fashion Week ho voluto mostrarvi proprio la parte pi? intima di New York, portandovi con me nel meraviglioso giardino botanico di Brooklyn.

Il parco – che si estende per 21 ettari di terreno ? ? caratterizzato da una serie di ?giardini dentro il Giardino?, come il Giardino dei bambini, quello delle piante native americane e lo Shakespeare Garden, in cui ? possibile ammirare tutte le variet? di fiori e di piante citate nelle opere del Bardo; tra tutti, per?, quello che maggiormente mi ha colpito ? l?incantevole giardino giapponese costruito nel 1914 – il primo in America. Tutto in questa sezione ? curato amorevolmente fin nel minimo dettaglio, dalle lampade in pietra al tipico ponticello torii, con delicate attenzioni come la piccola cascata ed il tempio shintoista.?Questo scenario mi ? sembrato lo sfondo ideale per mostrarvi il mio ultimo look alla New York Fashion Week, firmato dal geniale stilista giapponese Yojiro Kake😕? un posto surreale pervaso da un?atmosfera di calma e serenit? senza eguali, ed una delle zone pi? belle che abbia visto a New York.

Per questo outfit, ho scelto?un lungo soprabito color pavone – meraviglioso e teatrale – che scende fluido in un torrente di turchese, ?abbinato ad un minidress?origami con stampa grafica di righe e fiori digitali, enormi orecchini in corda ed un paio di scarpe magenta a contrasto.?Ho voluto rendere omaggio con questa?photostory?ad una cultura che da sempre mi affascina e mi ispira, alla sua eleganza ed armonia, ai suoi rumori, i suoi colori, i suoi fiori, a quelle contraddizioni di un Paese sempre a cavallo tra storia e modernit?.
